New maps in progress... and a summer break

New panoramic map in progress: from Monte Rosa to Grand Combin
I’m working on a new panoramic map covering one of the most spectacular alpine areas: from Monte Rosa to Grand Combin, including the Matterhorn, Dent d’Hérens and Dent Blanche.
"By popular demand" — at least seven people asked for it! :-)
A new panoramic map in oblique orthographic projection, coming soon on MountainCarto (likely by the end of September), for those who love high peaks and sweeping views along the Italy–Switzerland border.
Wall maps for schools (and beyond)
In the meantime, I’m also working on three large wall maps for a major educational publishing house:
- physical-political map of the World
- physical-political map of Europe
- physical-political map of Italy
These maps are designed for classroom use, but I’m already planning a physical version (without administrative borders!) tailored for MountainCarto, with a special focus on terrain and natural features.
Geographic maps for those who love to explore the landscape at a glance — beyond political boundaries.
A short break, then back to work
Starting from August 1, I’ll be taking a summer break and will be back to work on August 28.
During this time, the shop will remain open: you can continue to place orders as usual, and shipments will be processed by the end of August, once I’m back.
In the meantime, here are a few preview images of the maps currently in progress…
Wishing you all a great summer!
