Refund policy
In accordance with European Union consumer law on the right of withdrawal, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase, for any reason and without having to provide any justification.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
You can cancel or return your order in two ways:
- through the self-service function on your order page (link in your confirmation email) or from your account;
- by writing to us at marco@mountaincarto.com.
You will immediately receive an email confirmation of your request.
Cancellation before shipping
If your order hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel it at any time using the same methods: you will receive a full refund without having to return anything.

Return shipping costs are at your expense. In any case, we recommend contacting us before shipping anything back: in many cases we can offer you a simpler solution.
You may handle the map as needed to check its nature and characteristics, just as you would in a shop. Any diminished value resulting from further use (for example holes, creases, or damage from hanging) may be deducted from your refund.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If the map is damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, contact us right away with a few photos: we will replace it or refund you, at no cost to you and usually without requiring a return.
Refunds
We refund all payments received, including standard shipping costs, within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, to your original payment method. If we have asked you to return the item, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof that you have shipped them. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to make the credit visible.
